

Psychiatrist, Eve Maremont, MD
Dr. Eve Maremont graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Yale University. Dr. Maremont received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 2000. She has been elected to two academic honors associations—Phi Beta Kappa for her undergraduate work and Alpha Omega Alpha as a medical student.
She began her post-graduate training doing an initial internal medicine internship year at California-Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. She then completed her adult psychiatry residency program at Harvard University’s combined Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital Psychiatry Residency Program 2004.
Since 2004 Dr. Maremont has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry here at the David Geffen School of Medicine where she has taught residents, medical students and psychology interns and cared for both outpatients and inpatients in the Division of Adult Psychiatry.
Her special focus has been the Consultation-Liaison Service of the Semel Institute, Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Science and the Stewart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA which provides psychiatric expertise to assist patients hospitalized with medical and surgical illnesses. She holds certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the specialty of Psychiatry and the sub-specialty of Psychosomatic Medicine.
Throughout her medical training, Dr. Maremont has treated patients who are undergoing cancer treatment and dealing with emotional and physical challenges related to the diagnosis, treatment and survivor experiences of many different forms of cancer.
